I’ve sat around instead of learning how to fly
I’m searching from within
But I feel my brain is made of straw and my heart of tin


I am feeling desperate and alone
And I am drifting farther from my home
At some point everybody here will know
That they could use a jumpstart for their soul

And I can’t wait around to wonder why I have been deceived
